Well we hiked up to Timp cave today and what a great day for hiking. The temperature was perfect. Not to hot not to cold.
We had 9 people do the hike. The cave is awesome. We took about 2 1/2 hours to do the hike up and down with a cave tour included.
This next week on Wednesday we are hiking up to Highland Glen and some are going up and get some food cooked so those hiking will have some food when they get there. This next week end we now have a place to go and do our leader training. My father-in-law has given us an OK to use his cabin. The cabin is in Fruitland. About 75 miles to get there. We missed all those who could not make it on the hike. We need to decide on our food for the up coming week end and Rick is getting the information together for the training. We sure hope that everyone can make it to the leader training. We know that Greg and Chance will be in Idaho for the leadership training. We won't be coming home until about dark on Saturday. We should meet as early as possible on Friday. Probably between 4-5 pm. Bring some ideas for our up coming activities and camps so we can start a calendar for the next 6 or so months.
