We went camping this last week end out to my father-in-laws cabin. We had a great time and we taught some orienteering skills using the sun and shadow methods. We watched October Sky on Friday night. Saturday we went to Red Creek reservoir fishing and everyone was able to catch fish. We learned how to set up our fishing poles and how cast. We then learned how to clean fish then fillet them. We had a great time and missed those who could not make it. Saturday Chance went to Idaho for Marching Band and the band took first place. Way to go AF. On the way home one of the buses rolled over and we all know that a teacher was killed. We are so sad that this happened. Keep the band members in your prayers. We are thankful that no students were hurt very bad. We hope all that have any problems from the accident get over them and heal quickly. Jaimi also has been having some problems health wise and hope that all goes well with her. I also found out that on Saturday she was in a automobile wreak. She has some whiplash and we hope that is all she has and that she gets better. This week we are having a planning meeting, we need everyone to come so you can have some input we are planning for 6-12 months so we can put out a calendar so all can see what the youth have planned for the coming weeks and months. Please come with some great ideas, this is your program not us leaders. We really appreciate all the support from you parents. We will meet at 7 pm at the church. Rick is also planning on starting up the weekly 6 pm merit badge classes if he can get enough people willing to come and learn. We need to plan the merit badges that you want to learn about and pass off.

Here we are at the cabin.

Nathan's first fish caught ever!

Some happy fisherscouts!

Here we are at the fish hatchery near Strawberry Reservoir on the way home.

And we saw the Kokanee salmon spawning upstream.
