For this months photo walk we will be doing a moonlight snowshoe walk. We will be doing this at Little Cottonwood Canyon. We will be walking the Little Cottonwood Canyon Trail. We will be meeting at the big park and ride at the bottom of the canyon and walking across the street to the trail. The trail head is the Temple Quarry Trailhead.
Things to bring; A camera (slr, point and shoot, whatever you have), a tripod, warm clothes, warm boots, and light painting materials such as headlamps, flash lights, and glow sticks.
Snowshoes or cross-country skis are both used in the canyon, but some people get by with just sturdy winter shoes. Warm clothes, layers, all the usual winter gear is advisable.
