ATTENTION ALL TROOP MEMBERS:
We are going to book our summer camp reservation on Tuesday, April 8. The plan is this - We are going to go to Scofield the week of June 9 thru June 14. The cost will be $234 per person and includes the meal plan. We need 100% commitment before we register, because we can't change afterwards. This will be an awesome experience for all the scouts. So make your plans, come on Tuesday and we will get the ball rolling.
Also, plan now to be available on June 21. We have the great opportunity to earn a significant amount of money for the troop and demonstrate good scout principles. Our troop follows the runners in the American Fork Canyon Half Marathon and picks up the trash and clothing discards along the route. We go up to Tibble Fork parking lot at 5:00 a.m. The race starts at 6:00 and we start following, with a truck and trailer, at about 6:30 or 6:45. Last year we collected a trailer full of trash and clothes and were back at home about noon. We need all hands to make the job easier and faster.
