This last week we welcomed a new member of our Troop. Nathan Yates is joining our ranks and we are so excited to have him come and enjoy our activities. Welcome Nate.
We worked on some of his advancement requirements last week. We also had Troop elections. Spencer Is the Senior Patrol Leader, Money is our Assistant Senior Patrol Leader. Kaden is our Patrol Leader. This next Wednesday we are going to refresh our knowledge on maps and compasses. Also some gps navigation. This will also help Nathan on his goal to reach First Class. We will also plan the hike to Highland Glen park the next week Sept. 30. We need all Crew members to show up hopefully for the whole meeting or at least show up at 8pm so we can do Crew elections. We may even have a cracker barrel. We are planning a hike on October 3, which is a Saturday ,to Timp cave. Oct. 9-10 we are trying to get a training retreat set up so we can get all youth leaders trained.
